Parenthood sometimes sends people into a whirlwind of emotions that they didn’t expect, and it’s no different for screenwriter/director Guy Ritchie,who proclaims that "fatherhood is unbelievable," and "it has taken over my life." However, the 39-year-old was "surprised" that the love he feels for son David, 2 ½, wouldn’t be any different than what he feels for Rocco, 8 this week, because he welcomed him by adoption.
But something else surprised me â- how much you can love an adopted child, the same as you can love a biological child. I didnât anticipate that.
Guy and his wife, performer Madonna, 49, have been married since December 22, 2000, and also raise Lourdes, 11½. Lourdes’ dad is Carlos Leon.

When the singer awoke, “she looked up Loden, which is a shade of green, and Sloan is Celtic for warrior,” Peter say. “It made perfect sense as weâre both passionate environmentalists.” Their earth-focused outlook is also one reason that Peter and Kelly will not be having any more biological children citing a concern for population control. Peter explains, “We should be discussing that topic.” However, that doesn’t mean that they won’t add to their family by another way.
We might adopt down the road. My wife is adopted.
Peter, 53, and Kelly, 38, were married on April 18, 1998.

Missy Elliott says she’d "definitely" like to be a mom someday, though it probably won’t be biologically. The 37-year-old Grammy Award-winning rapper admits that she’s intimidated by the thought of labor and delivery, telling People "I don’t know if I can take that kind of pain." She adds,
Maybe in the year 2020 you could just pop a baby out and it’d be fine. But right now I’d rather just adopt.
Missy’s seventh album, Block Party, is scheduled for release on Sept. 9.

Minnesota Twins pitcher Matt Guerrier, 30, and his wife Dejie have welcomed their first child through adoption. Ava Grace was born on Thursday, July 31st and went home on Saturday, August 2nd. Matt missed the team’s Saturday night game to be with his new family.
The couple were married in the fall of 2006.

While a breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 44 might have extinguished the dream of motherhood for many women, Sheryl says that for her it was only made stronger. "There was a shift in my life when I got diagnosed, because it demanded I look at everything and redefine my life," she says.
