My Plate-Mate
($7.95), which is a simple, curved piece of plastic â that snaps on to
the side of a plate to help kids push food on their fork â is one of
those âwhereâve YOU been?â products Iâm glad to have finally found,
albeit five years and three kids into the game.
Iâve been watching my five-year-old chase his eggplant parmesan
(yeah, but, itâs one of only three dinner foods heâll eat) around his
plate for so long. Some bites make it in, but too many end up being
forced off the plank, onto the table and floor. I tried giving him a
dull knife to help â no luck. It was even more frustrating for him to
use both utensils (and for me to watch).
